What's Happening!

Hello there! It's been a while since I have landed on this site! Don't worry because I haven't forgotten you all! I still read (or creep) all my blogs daily. Keep those good post coming. Love my daily reading! Lately, I just haven't found the time to sit down a write a little about our world!
So here it goes...What's Happening in our world! (By the way that's one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite children's book characters..Tacky the Penguin! Check out his books and read them to your kiddos! They will love him! I feel a little like Tacky on most days...Tacky is a strange bird, but a GOOD bird to have around! One of my other favorite lines from the books!)

What's happening is Christmas break ended and a new year began, we went back to the school and work daily grind, Ethan started playing flag football (which is one of the many reasons God gave me boys! I love football and have loved watching my baby boy rock on the football field!), David started coaching flag football (learning patience is a hard thing, but fun for a wife to watch!), Kandy is remembering that following a toddler around is hard work, Ethan (and his mommy) read over 300 books in the month of January, Ethan earned his trip to Chuck-E-Cheese (mommy is still waiting for her award for reading all those books), David ran a marathon, Callen is learning to say a few words, Ethan celebrated the 100th day of school with a tower of cups, Will and Mommy had their first date, Veggie Tales Live was a blast, learning how to manage life with a toddler and food allergies, David got a new job, Kandy and the boys got new medical insurance (that was fun), preparing for our mission trip to Honduras, it rained, Mems and Pops came to visit, it rained, Mammaw and Pappaw came to visit us, it rained, Uncle Brad came for a visit, it rained, Mems and Pops came back to see us, it rained, grass is turning green, Will got his first baseball uniform, Kandy juggled her first Saturday of baseball opening ceremonies and football games, Ethan gave his first report in front of the school, David and Kandy had a date night, we continue to pray about some new things for our family, went to the Houston Rodeo, and are enjoying a little R&R on Spring Break!

That about sums it up! Enjoy my favorite pictures from our end of the world! God is so GOOD!

Our December Visitor

Milton, our Elf on the Shelf, arrived early December and the boys had the best time with him this year. He has been around for the last 3 years, but this year was the best yet! We had so much fun with him! Mommy and Daddy included! He arrived one morning with breakfast for the boys! He must of been talking to his friend Elfonzo, our friend Nolan's elf, because we all got snow and breakfast from the North Pole. :) Milton was busy around our house this month! Take a look at Milton's Adventures.....

It is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! We had a great Christmas filled with family and sweet memories made. This year Will was so "into" everything about Christmas! It was so much fun for David and I.

Christmas Card

This is the first year in 10 years that I have not mailed a Christmas Card to our loved family and friends! (Insert sad lip here!) I sat down to make them one evening (like 2 nights ago) and David said, "Really!" "You are going to spend the money on the cards, stamps, and they probably wont get them in time for Christmas!" "Besides they end up throwing them away a couple weeks after Christmas."
I argued with him for a few minutes and tried to convince him of my perspective. I love getting Christmas cards this time of year and displaying them in my home. But when it was all said and done...He was sort of right! There I said it! I agreed with him! So you will not receive a Christmas card in the mail from The Bozeman Family this year, but don't worry.....Because below is the cute picture that would of graced your mailbox this year!

May your Christmas be BUBBLING over with wonderful memories!
Merry Christmas from The Bozeman Family
Ethan (6), Will (4), and Callen (18 months)

PS: I will be printing one to put in The Bozeman Christmas Scrapbook so the boys wont think their Mom was lazy in 2011!

Putting things in Perspective

Powerful! My four year old woke me up two nights ago because he was hungry. I gave him a few crackers and sent him back to his room. He then woke me up a second time 2 hours later because "his tummy was still hungry!" I at this point was very irritated at him. I took him to the kitchen, and at 4:00 in the morning he ate a bowl of oatmeal at the kitchen table. I slept on the couch while he ate. Now who needs a spanking? My lesson is learned, and I feel so blessed to have had this wake up call. May the children around the globe be loved, feed, and held tonight. May someone in their lives teach them of Jesus' love. Most importantly may Kandy be a servant and do her part.

Do you make a Christmas list? If so, consider including this on your list! It's wonderful, great, powerful, inspiring, and a tear jearker! Read it today!

I put together a little digital scrapbook of our latest trip to the Pumpkin Patch in October. I also added a very pictures from memory lane! Notice the shirts that were able to be worn again this Halloween season! Gotta love hand-me-downs!

(When you play the Smilebox, you can click on the pictures to view them larger.)

Sorry for all the Smilebox videos lately. It is so much easier and faster for me to download pics this way. Is might be just me....But Blogger seems to be soooo slow when it comes to posting my pictures! I just do not have the time during the day anymore!
Just saying!

Catching Up

We've been crazy busy around here in Houston! School started and Kindergarten began! Home Readers and Math homework is in full swing! Ethan is reading up a storm and loving learning. Will loves school and sings all the new songs he is learning! Ethan is also playing fall baseball this year. David is assisting coaching, and I chase two boys around the ballpark while I try to see Ethan bat! Life is good! Enjoy our first day of school slide show.
