Milk Cookies

So what do these ingredients....

Flaxseed Mill, Extra Thick Oats, and Brewer's Yeast

And these have in common...

Lots of Mommy's Milk

And one full and happy baby boy!

After returning to work and pumping twice a day, milk production was getting a little low. I started eyeing a website that sells milk cookies for nursing mommies to help with milk supply. They were probably the most expensive cookies I had ever seen. A little googling with a help of a friend and VOILA...we found a recipe for Lactation Cookies (Oatmeal Chocolate cookies). I took a little trip to Whole Foods and did some baking. Now I eat about 3 of these a day (don't judge...it's for my baby!!!!), and we are back in business with the dairy farm! David and Will have had their fair share too, but no worries because I am the only one at my house making milk!

That's awesome! So how are those different than normal oatmeal/chocolate chip cookies? Just curious because oatmeal/chocolate chip is my FAVORITE cookie and, well, let's just say...I don't want (or need) to produce milk!!! haha!
